Hannah studied Criminal Justice and Psychology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and received her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma (2021) with a desire to advocate for social equity in her community. She completed foundational Dialectical and Behavior Therapy training through the Linehan Institute in 2021 as well as practicing modalities including Brainspotting, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. As a therapy intern, Hannah was responsible for proving evidence-based treatments for her clients through therapy and skills groups. She has experience working individually with adults and teens and joining with caregivers navigating complex family dynamics. Hannah is passionate about serving and supporting clients who struggle with big emotions. This may look like anxiety, self-harming behaviors, low self-esteem, postpartum disorders, behavioral concerns, or anyone who resonates with being a highly sensitive person. She is an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and strives to hold culturally competent space for all individuals. As your therapist, Patrick is dedicated to a collaborative approach that will help you walk the middle path between accepting what feels unacceptable and changing what we believe is unchangeable. As a marriage and family therapist he will not only be providing treatment based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy principles but will maintain a systemic perspective that considers the role of family in all presenting concerns. It is his goal to strive towards cultural competency and provide effective evidence based treatment. Before going to school to become a therapist Patrick spent four years in the military getting to know service members from all around the country. He received his masters degree in Marriage and Family therapy as well as a bachelors in Sociology at the University of Central Oklahoma. He has experience in community mental health where he worked with diverse populations and diagnoses. Validation and acceptance are Kris' therapy super-powers. Kris studied Psychology at Southern Nazarene University (2006) and Counseling Psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma (2009). He received intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy through the Linehan Institute in 2011. As a supervising clinician for a community mental health center in Oklahoma City, he was integral in developing the first outpatient DBT program for adolescents in the state of Oklahoma. He was appointed by Governor Mary Fallin to the Oklahoma Suicide Prevention Council where he served from 2013 to 2020.
